Kylie’s new scow
I had a good sail in 10-12kn NE on Saturday thanks to Grant who let me use my old boat. Lea was also down, giving Mike Leigh his first experience sailing a Moth. I think there is a good chance he will get one along with other Olympic guys looking for a break.

Sunday was more of a boat building day, after I ripped the foredeck off Kylie’s new scow. It’s amazing what you can find inside these old boats….There were 2 birds nests, about a dozen dead wasps along with their homes, some nuts and lots of sand.
New 1mm ply foredeck will go after I get rid of all half glued bits of old plywood and do some carboning on old frames…
